XMLMania.com was a news and information resource for XML and related technologies, such as XSL and XML databases. It existed in a time when the hype wave was riding high for anything XML related.
As well as providing XML-related news, I also released some minor tools on the website, including a rudimentary XAML application renderer.
Through developing this website I discovered, and became an early adopter of RSS & Atom, which ultimately inspired me to develop FeedsFarm.com and later Speeple News.
The XML ecosystem — especially syndication formats — led me to develop skills in data mining, data acquisition and data normalization, which remain with me to this day and that I now provide as a freelance developer.
